Tweet this comment Cancel Submit Comment Subscribe to None Replies All new comments by Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — Wellington High School had its annual service day throughout the community Wednesday morning.Each year, the Karla Defore Leadership Class organizes the event in which the whole high school will scatter throughout the community to participate in a cleanup or a structural improvement. There were 17 groups going to various places such as the golf course, the elementary schools, Worden Park, Sellers Park, Memorial Auditorium, “Friends of Charity” and other places making improvements to the community for which they live.Some were assigned to work at the high school making care packages and cleaning up their own surrounds.
