We would like to specially thank KPMG (Barbados) for providing their auditing services to assure absolute transparency,” the Group indicated. They have specifically identified two (2) major causes; water tanks for the Dominica Water and Sewerage Company Limited (DOWASCO) and the rehabilitation of the Coulibistrie Primary School, to contribute the funds to.“Twelve (12) 1000 gallon water tanks will be purchased for the local water company, DOWASCO, so that they can be installed in some of the schools and hard hit communities where there are still water supply issues due to the significant damage suffered to their piping infrastructure. Total costs for these 12 water tanks are EC $19,800 or US $7,300”.The recommended locations for the installation of the 12 water tanks are as follows:center_img 1Ongoing Temporary rehabilitation of the water supply system; water is being supplied via water truck 2Upper part of community still not receiving reliable water Pichelin (Primary School) 765 Views   one comment 12 Bagatelle (Primary School) GRANDTOTAL 1Ongoing Temporary rehabilitation of the water supply system; water is being supplied via water truck Sharing is caring! This will be the main relief project utilizing the funds raised from the Barbados Cares’ Campaign over the September 25th to 27th, 2015 period,” the Group said.“Our entire team would like to give huge thanks to our corporate partners who came out in their numbers to graciously give and make our campaign a success. We also would like to graciously thank the many individuals both here in Barbados and overseas who contributed to our cause. In particular, we want to thank the children of Coleridge and Parry High School, the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), Chefette Restaurants, and the Dominica Association of Barbados who made substantial contributions toward the relief efforts”.The Group also “sincerely” thanked the following businesses: Accra Beach Hotel & Spa, Andrew Browne Photography, Banks, Barbados Revenue Authority, Barbados Today, Barbados Water Authority, Bar None, Bazodee Magazine, Caribbean Airlines, Caribbean Examination Council (CXC), Carson Alleyne, CBC, CFX Mascots, Chefette Restaurants, Coleridge & Parry School, Copacabana, COSCAP, Crane Resort, Crop Over Hub, Department of Emergency Management, Dominica Association of Barbados, Dream Solutions, Health Hub Barbados, Hott 95.3 FM, 98.1 The One, IGM Stage Lighting, Island Ice, Jason Waithe, Jolly Roger, Kamila McDonald-Alcock, KFC, KPMG, L.A.
